Asma al-Husna – Mishary Rashid
Salam,
Did you know? There are more than 99 Names of Allah. The versions of Asma al-Husna we hear have many unauthentic Names. Meaning, those names aren’t mentioned in the Quran or the Hadith. For example, al-Mulk (the Kingdom).
This nasheed has the authentic names and has a beautiful melody. Do listen!
And wouldn’t it be awesome if we memorize the names? Get motivated:
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Allah has ninety-nine names, one hundred less one. Whoever ‘ahsaha’ [enumerates them, believes in them, ponders their meanings, worships Allah by them and supplicates with them, and acts by them according to one’s belief in them] will enter Paradise. (Recorded by al-Bukhari and Muslim)
Wassalam! :)
