To Slow Down Or Not.. (Hadith No. 68)

Salam,
Bismillah.

Volume 1, Book 3, Number 68:

Narrated Ibn Mas’ud:

The Prophet used to take care of us in preaching by selecting a suitable time, so that we might not get bored. (He abstained from pestering us with sermons and knowledge all the time).

This Hadith scares me. I post one Hadith everyday. And it’s hard for a lot of people to catch up on the reading. They might even be irritated by it! But then I think of the whole Sahih Bukhari that I aim to do (which has around 7000 Ahadith). How will I finish it in my life if I don’t do it more often?
See, I would slow down my speed but it would prove to be a hurdle in achieving my goal. So, if you can’t read it everyday, no problem! You can keep checking back on and off and read whatever you can. InshaAllah, it’ll be beneficial anyway.

Conclusion: I keep my pace. You can slow down if you wish to. :)
