I, II or III? (Hadith No. 94)
Salam,
Bismillah.
Doing something once is not enough sometimes. Repetition is needed. Question: how many times can one repeat an act? Once, twice or thrice? Let’s see Prophet (SAW)’s way..
Narrated Anas:
Whenever the Prophet asked permission to enter, he knocked the door thrice with greeting and whenever he spoke a sentence (said a thing) he used to repeat it thrice.
P.S.: he didn’t repeat every sentence thrice. It’s just that, when he used to repeat, he used to say it thrice.
Lesson: 3 is your lucky number! :)
Wassalam!
