Today’s Hadith is about wudu, of course. But I’m going to highlight something very different. Well, I’ll try, inshaAllah..

You remember how Prophet (SAW) discouraged people doing wudu hastily saying “save your heels from the Fire”? (That was in Hadith no. 164). Now notice what Abu Huraira (RA) does..

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 166:

Narrated Muhammad Ibn Ziyad:

I heard Abu Huraira saying as he passed by us while the people were performing ablution from a utensil containing water, “Perform ablution perfectly and thoroughly for Abul-Qasim (the Prophet) said, ‘Save your heels from the Hell-fire.’ “

Yes, he follows the way of the Prophet (SAW). He does it exactly the way Prophet (SAW) did. He followed the Sunnah in true meaning. Can we claim to be doing that today? Think about it..
