Milk Has Fat (Hadith No. 210)
Salam,
Bismillah.
Hadith no. 209 is a repeat. Read it here.
Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas:
Allah’s Apostle drank milk, rinsed his mouth and said, “It has fat.”
We all know that, right? But there’s another point to it. Prophet (SAW) is giving the reason for rinsing his mouth. It has fat. Get it?
So, the sunnah to be derived is: rinse your mouth before praying if you’ve eaten a fat-containing food. :)
Wassalam.

but the most important in this hadiath is, at the time of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alahe Wasalam) do the people of that time knew that Milk has Fat?
I hope u got my point.

I’m sorry, I don’t understand your point.
It was quite impossible to have any information about the Milk has fat 1500 years back. This information, is availabel in Hadiath (saying and acts of Prophet Muhammad (May Peace, Mercy & Blessing of ALLAH be upon him) which we have today by unbroken chain of narration, but discovered only recently, is yet another proof of the Prophet Hood, Seal of the Last and Final Messanger. (Peace be upon him).
I was just reading Bukhari sharif this morning, I saw this hadiath and my mind clicked so I start searching on the scientific discovery of Milk has fat and I reached this site if u see my blogspot you’ll find the USA, and UK ways to find out the Fat in Milk, and if u follow the link and you’ll find out more.

Oh okay. Now I get it. Jzk. :)
Assalalmu Alaikum
brother, you said in your point “rinse your mouth “before praying” if you’ve eaten a fat-containing food.”but there is nothing mentioned about “prayer” in that hadees.
Ws. This Hadith appears in Kitaab-ul-Wudu (Book of Ablution). Definitely has something to do with prayer.
And it’s ‘sister’ for future reference.
