Daughters of Adam (Hadith No. 293)
Salam,
Bismillah.
Kitaab-ul-Haydh (Book of Menstrual Periods) starts today. It needs no introduction. Ahadith will be self-explanatory inshaAllah.
Narrated Al-Qasim:
‘Aisha said, “We set out with the sole intention of performing Hajj and when we reached Sarif, (a place six miles from Mecca) I got my menses. Allah’s Apostle came to me while I was weeping. He said ‘What is the matter with you? Have you got your menses?’ I replied, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘This is a thing which Allah has ordained for the daughters of Adam. So do what all the pilgrims do with the exception of the Tawaf (Circumambulation) round the Ka’ba.” ‘Aisha added, “Allah’s Apostle sacrificed cows on behalf of his wives.”
So O daughters of Adam! Do not be ashamed of it. Don’t feel bad. Don’t curse it. It is by Allah. Islam doesn’t cast you out of the society like Judaism and some other religions do. Women having their menstrual periods are sent to special homes where they can’t mingle with the rest of the society. Weird, I know.
Islam doesn’t put any social restrictions on you. There are some liberations though. Like you get a break from the five daily prayers. And the fasts that you get to skip in Ramadan can be kept later. It’s ease I tell you! ;)
I thank Allah for this blessing. Do you? :)
Wassalam.

it means no problem we can do umrah like that
Hajj can be performed. Purification is necessary for Tawaaf etc. So Umrah cannot be performed.
