Talking after Iqaamah (Ahadith 615-616)
Salam,
Bismillah.
Hadith no. 614 is a repeat. Read it here.
Volume 1, Book 11, Number 615:
Narrated Anas:
Once the Iqama was pronounced and the Prophet was talking to a man (in a low voice) in a corner of the mosque and he did not lead the prayer till (some of) the people had slept (dozed in a sitting posture) .
That man kept talking to the Prophet (SAW) for a long time after the Iqaamah, so some people dozed off while waiting for him..
Volume 1, Book 11, Number 616:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Once Iqama was pronounced a man came to the Prophet and detained him (from the prayer).
So talking IS allowed after Iqaamah. That means, before Iqaamah, you’re not supposed to talk. :)
The time between the Adhaan and Iqaamah is of immense importance. Your prayers are accepted in that time. Why waste those golden moments by talking about random and useless stuff?
Wassalam.
