I am on a journey that is far and long

I know that this isn’t where I belong

No matter what you say

I’ll stay bold and strong

I’m like a bird separated from its nest

No matter what I do, I cannot rest

Because I know that there is

A place which has eternal bliss

I’m like a boat making way through the waves

There are troubles that I face on the way

But they can’t stop me from being

The best person that I can be

Because if only you could see

What lies ahead for you and me!

Then may be

A stranger you would also be…

  2. tuinshi nasution

reminds me about stranger hadith, good stranger hadith and the strange of islam hadith…..but i dont know if it shahih or not

    • It’s a Saheeh Hadith.

The Book of Faith (Kitab Al-Iman)
      Muslim :: Book 1 : Hadith 270
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Islam initiated as something strange, and it would revert to its (old position) of being strange. so good tidings for the stranger.

  3. This one’s really nice. BarakAllahu feekum.

    • So the previous ones weren’t really nice… theek.. (yes I took it literally).

jazakAllah khayr. All praise be to Allah SWT.
One question: BarakAllahu Feekum means may Allah put Barakah in your work? I know i’m close but not sure!

    • Oh right! That was my second option! Fee = in and kum = you.. jazakAllah khayr! Will remember it now insha’Allah.
p.s. I couldn’t “reply” to the new comment.
