Easy And Not Difficult (Hadith No. 219)
Salam,
Bimsillah.
Reference: Hadith no. 218
Narrated Abu Huraira:
A Bedouin stood up and started making water in the mosque. The people caught him but the Prophet ordered them to leave him and to pour a bucket or a tumbler of water over the place where he had passed the urine. The Prophet then said, “You have been sent to make things easy and not to make them difficult.”
These words are just so beautiful and full of wisdom. When we study the teachings of Islam, the Halal and the Haram, we tend to become really hard on others. And that’s exactly what the Prophet (SAW) is forbidding us from. We’re supposed to make things easy for others. Help them. Not impose on them. Solve their problems, not create them. This should be our attitude as a nation. Work on it! :)
Wassalam.
