Women CAN Go Out (Hadith No. 149)
Salam,
Bismillah.
Yes. Women can co go out, BUT only when necessary.
Narrated ‘Aisha:
The Prophet said to his wives, “You are allowed to go out to answer the call of nature.”
It was a custom in Arabia in the time of the Prophet (SAW), to not have bathrooms attached to houses. Whoever needed to answer the call of nature, would go out and do it where no one could see him/her (away from the population). And since women couldn’t go during the day, they used to go out at night and would go in groups for safety purposes.
Having bathrooms attached to our rooms today is clearly a blessing. We have one less thing to go out for. But does that stop us?
