Musk-ed Wound (Hadith No. 238)

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 238:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, “A wound which a Muslim receives in Allah’s cause will appear on the Day of Resurrection as it was at the time of infliction; blood will be flowing from the wound and its color will be that of the blood but will smell like musk.”

Can you believe it? If we have this in mind, we wouldn’t even feel the pain when wounded. We’d let the blood ooze. We’d wish for more wounds.

P.S. These wounds aren’t just wounds. They’re special. They came in the Way of Allah. ;)
