So he offered the fardh Isha salah and then offered 5 Rakat afterwards. Can this be taken to apply to offering Nawafil raka’ah with one’s spouse? Like if a husband and wife want to pray together, side by side, is the husband supposed to lead the congregation of the two or do they just offer the Salah together?
The statement you choose to derive this from is beyond my understanding.
But one may pray in congregation with their spouse if self-control is practiced. Husband leads the prayer and wife follows standing a few steps behind him.
So they can offer Salah in congregation even if they’re offering Nafl salah? Cool. Jazaki Allah Khair.
